Gold
Coast Accommodation Booking Guide
There are three important things to take into account when
making your booking:
1) advance bookings are absolutely essential
2)
school
holidays always create a heavy
demand for lodgings
3) prices vary considerably depending on the
seasons... which are:

High Season is the Xmas - New Year holiday period.

Usually from around the 20th Dec to 25th Jan. Dates
differ between the various Gold Coast regions.
Dates will also differ between different properties. 7 night min stays are the norm during high season.
Make your booking 5-6 months in advance.
Mid Season is usually the periods of the Easter long week-end, April school holidays, Sept - Oct school holidays and the
Indy 300 Motor Race carnival (northern Gold Coast
only). 5 night min stays are the norm during
mid season. Make your booking 3-4 months in advance.
Low Season is all other dates. 3 night min stays are the norm during low season although some properties will accept 2 night stays.
Make your booking 5-6
weeks in advance.
There are
festivals, events,
conferences etc throughout the year that result in increased demand for Gold Coast
accommodation at various locations all along the coast.
