orange bulletTransfers & Transport

Shuttle bus services are available to and from all the parks from the Brisbane CBD, Brisbane airport, the Gold Coast airport as well as door-to-door services to and from the resorts and apartments at all the popular Gold Coast destinations. However, if your family is planning to spend a few days visiting the theme parks, then a Gold Coast hire car will be a more economical option. The total costs for airport transfers plus repeated fares on the shuttle services to and from the theme parks will almost certainly exceed a car rental cost.

orange bulletBest Places To Stay

The theme parks are located at the northern end of the Gold Coast and if they are the main reason for your visit, then choosing to stay in locations such as Southport, Main Beach and Biggera Waters would involve the shortest travel distances. You can find accommodation at those locations by entering the names into the search box on this page.

For short stay visits of one or two nights we can recommend Gold Coast hotels.  For longer stays where the Gold Coast entertainment scene and restaurant precincts are important, the premier resorts in Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach will provide some great choices and reasonable travel time to the parks.
