New South Wales Southern Highlands

new south wales southern tablelands mapThe Southern  Highlands encompass the small towns and villages of the tablelands south of Sydney through to the high country of the Kosciusko National Park and Victorian border.new south wales southern tablelands snowman

In the Southern Highlands expect lush countryside, quaint villages, magnificent gardens, lakes and waterfalls, forests, bushwalks, antiques, arts and crafts, restaurants and historic sites.

The high country of the Snowy Mountains is Australia's winter playground with a sophisticated skiing industry. Angling, bushwalking, wildflowers and the wide outdoors during the other seasons.

A great region to explore at your own pace in a campervan or motorhome rental vehicle.

Places of Interest
